Dear friends of Heart in Africa,
Spring shows us how new beginnings work – and so we start the next season motivated and with lots of new ideas.
Spring mood
Colorful items from the Nice View tailoring
We at Herz in Afrika are already in a very spring-like mood, because we have simply taken sunshine and lots of warmth with us from Kenya: the tailor from the Nice View Children’s Village has sewn us beautiful toiletry bags and placemats – with so many bright colors and cheerful patterns, we can’t help but be in a good mood.
But why not take a look for yourself in our store – it’s worth it! All proceeds go to the children of the children’s village.
Moments of happiness - we are counting on you
Every child has their own bike" campaign
And then we start a very special campaign, which also fits in wonderfully with spring: Can you still remember your first bike? With how much pride and joy you mastered your first ride? I’m sure for some of you it was a special moment in your childhood that you will carry in your heart forever.
And it is precisely these lasting moments of happiness that we want to create with our campaign for the children of the Nice View Children’s Village. Find out more about our initiative “A bicycle for every child”.
The Artist
Kahindi
How many of you know Kahindi? Perhaps some of you have even met him in person or are proud owners of one of his great paintings?
Kahindi is a former Nice View child who showed his great talent for drawing at the age of eight.
He started drawing cartoons and comics during his primary school years. His passion for art has grown more and more and now he wants to really take off as an artist. Learn more from his website more about his works.
